My school recommended “introductory chemistry”, but if there’s not much difference b/w the 2, then i don’t wanna buy something more expensive.
Oh and I forgot to mention,
They’re both 3rd editions too.

I really want to Astronomy but it involves Chemistry. But i failed Chemistry but can i still do Astronomy.

I am looking for an interesting career to do my chemistry project on that must have some post-secondary chemistry education. I would like it to be interesting and unusual to do for a project, not like forensic science, pharmaceuticals, analytical chemists, or other typical things that would be presented. Please help me!

My class is going to be raising koi in a large tank that’s indoors. My job is to find out the ideal water chemistry for the koi. I need to know such things as:
Temperature
pH
Dissolved Oxygen
Ammonia
Nitrates
Water Hardness
And anything else you can think of that could possibly affect koi.

65.0 kilojules of energy are added to 150g or ice t 0.0 Degrees C. What is the final temperature of the water?

The specific heat would be 334 J/g

We have been doing these problems in my chemistry class, and I am totally lost. Can someone describe how to do this specific problem?

I am in a beginning Chemistry class and we conducted an experiment where we separated a mixture of sodium chloride and calcium carbonate by dissolving it into DI water and then filtering out the solid left-overs. My question is, why is using DI water so important, what if we used regular tap water? Would it affect the separation of the two compounds?

Could someone please help solve and explain this chemistry calculation. The problem is:

Find the Molarity of a sulphuric acid solution which has a density of 1.30g/mL and is 40% w/w pure sulphuric acid.

can i do it in this short period of time and understand the basics of chemistry ? n how ?
